This original D. Maine Art™ print was created using only the finest enhanced acid-free archival quality matte paper and archival inks. The print will arrive wrapped in acid-free Glassine paper to protect the integrity and surface. Usually, any curling of the print from packaging will correct itself once framed. A professional framer should handle the artwork to avoid smudges, scratches and accidental creasing. Please provide your framer with the enclosed “Certificate of Authenticity” and “About the Artist” documents so that they may be attached to the dust cover on the back of the finished, framed piece. Affixing the documents will establish provenance and value.
The print must be handled with care. D. Maine Art recommends the use of acid-free mat board, foam board and acid-free tape when framing. Even with the best framing methods, direct sunlight, light, moisture and heat will damage the artwork; therefore, avoid displaying the original print in direct sunlight, under bright lights or near a heat source. Taking the extra precautions to protect the print today will help preserve it for decades to come.
